BMW i3 Range Extender; heated seats, HK, Adaptive LED's, FSH, Road tax £20

For Sale BMW i3 Rex 2014.

- Range Extender petrol engine, which is a life saver when you rock up to a rapid charger and it’s either; (a) broken or (b) already in use. This really is the best of both worlds if you need to travel a distance as the car can happily run purely on petrol for as long as you need.

Full BMW service history, last one was carried out in November at Douglas Park and included a diagnostic check which flagged no issues. They also done the Mot whilst in where it got 2 new rear tyres. I also had a new 12v battery fitted last week giving complete peace of mind as it was still on the original. Next service due Nov 2026.

It’s had the common and sometimes costly issues that can arise on early models already sorted at BMW to include new high voltage EME cable and fuel pump relay.

There is a wee noise from the front top mounts at low speeds which are common to go on these, this doesn’t affect the drive and BMW said it wasn’t something to worry about at its last visit, hence passed the Mot. The small cover for the driver’s side door key is missing, doesn’t affect use but would rather mention it.

The car drives great and is super cheap to run. Being an older model, it also only attracts £20 road tax.
I have 2 keys, owners handbook, BMW type 2 charging cable, and lots of main dealer service paperwork from new.

Previous 2 owners were the same family.

Knowing how much fun these are I bought this as a stop gap as I was constantly pinching my wife’s one whilst waiting on a delivery date for my company car which I now have. This particular model is great if this is your first foray into the world of EV’s as the petrol engine takes away any range anxiety.
