It’s never easy parting ways with a car you’ve genuinely enjoyed owning, but sadly it’s time for me to let my much-loved BMW 120D go. Over the last few years, it’s been nothing but reliable, starting first time every time, fun to drive and great fuel economy

New nearside brake caliper
New front brake pads
Rear shocks replaced
EGR & MAF sensors cleaned
Handbrake cable tightened and adjusted


Honest notes:

The paintwork is tidy overall but, as you’d expect for a 16-year-old car, it has had touch-ups over the years and carries a few scuffs and scratches. There’s a small surface rust patch starting on the rear wheel arch, and the driver’s seat bolster on the door side has collapsed with a few tears in the material.

I’ve truly enjoyed every mile in this car and will be sad to see it go – but I simply have too many cars now and not enough time for them all & have a new daily driver to focus on

The car is currently not taxed, so road driving isn’t possible, but viewing is welcome at evenings or weekends and there’s a short section of private road outside the house for testing.

Would make an excellent commuter or a dependable daily runner.
