Another one of our usual main dealership px cars.
Collected from a BMW dealership the other side of Manchester, 157miles to be exact.
Dropping straight onto the M61, then M62 for 70 odd miles, over the highest motorway on England at 372m It drove really well.
Driving better than the 2005 discovery that tried to burn past me like a crazy idiot, up hill, before clumps of black smoke forced him to pull over into the hard shoulder, enough said.
I really do go miles for a car, but gives me the chance to really get to know a car on the way back, and how well it drives.
Just over 150 miles in nearly 2 1/2 hours is a proper test drive.

So on getting the car back, I sent it for an MOT, like we do most of our cars with less than 6 months mot.
The result was a fail.
And so, over 350 pounds of my really hard earned has now fixed this lovely car.
A new rear caliber, new rear brake pads and discs and a full service too.

● MECHANICALS:
As mentioned its powered by the wonderful BMW 2.0 diesel.
Mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox, that does change really well,Its does pull well in all gears.
NO smoke, amazingly on a car that's 16 years old,
No rattles, no funny noises, no warning lights on the dash.Just serviced today , so ready to go.

● EXTERIOR:
The car is finished in the tried and tested Schwartz metallic black paintwork that BMW have been dong since Noah was a boy.
It does look really well, almost unmarked condition.
Yes its probably had a bit of paint in its life,Front bumper definitely has, probably a cheeky car park scuff im guessing.
A couple of marks to the rear mid bumper on the loading area.
A bit of touch up on associated chips here and there, but on the whole does look really presentable for a 16 year old car.
Multi spoke alloys are all in very good condition, and look very smart with their new tyres , against the shiny black paintwork.

● INTERIOR:
The car has a FULL cream leather interior ,front seats are heated and its still looks in amazing condition.
Only a little wear on the drivers bolster, but that's about the only mark on the interior, you wouldn't believe its done 148k miles, so must have been loved.
Factory black headlining is in great condition, carpets have all been cleaned and still look fresh.
Drivers and passengers front seat have electric adjustable bolsters which hug you nicely, the m sport like mats in the boot.

NO spare on a BMW, tool kit , warning triangle and first aid kit are still in the car.

● SERVICE HISTORY:
● There is a ""PART"" service history with the car, 5 stamps , 2011- 2019 all at BMW.
● Invoice from 2023 for 3k pounds, for a turbo, DPF , Manifold replacement and a service.
● Invoice March 2023 for rear brake pads and discs.
● Invoice September 2024, for 2 rear shockers, 426 pounds worth.
● Fully serviced today 07/08/2025.

● RUNNING COSTS:

Having spent 18 years in the motor trade, owning our own business as a car painter and refinisher, time and mainly my back and knees caught up with me !

So now we source and sell cars direct from the trade we used to work with.

All cars are driven a minimum of 40 miles, so we can assess the creeks and groans.

Most cars ( unless listed as spares or repairs) are sold with a minimum of 6 months MOT, but preferably with a fresh 12 months MOT for peace of mind.

Where possible we source full service history cars.

Our stock changes daily, mainly due to the lower margins we charge to create a higher volume.

I do love the Vw group cars,( VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda ) so you will see a lot of those, plus the smaller engine , cheap to tax and insure cars.
