Description
Lovingly restored French Peugeot Equipe Road racing bicycle.
Beautiful bike. Attention to detail is amazing, as a proper classic French bike.
The aim of this project was to preserve the bike as original as possible with as many original parts as possible.
It was fully dismantled. All parts have been cleaned. Wheel hubs cleaned and re greased. Fork bearings cleaned and re greased. Bottom bracket cleaned and re greased.
The frame was cleaned as much as possible with aim of preserving the original paint and it had a clear coat applied for a shiny fresh look and protection.
Lightweight frame made of proprietary Peugeot`s Carbolite103 steel
Large size frame. 62cm seat tube 60cm top tube. Should be suitable for someone between 5ft10 and 6ft2
Chromed Rigida 700c wheelset. Nice and shine polished chrome with no pitting.

52-38t front chain rings

Weinmann calliper brakes

I have acquired the bike from the original owner who bought it almost 40 years ago and kept it for most of its life in his garage.
The bike is and feels very light. It is super-fast. It is a very invigorating machine, and it begs to be ridden hard, so you will find yourself cruising London at speed!
All in all, a great vintage bike. Good looking, fast and in great condition.
