Description
Proper Time Warp example of the ever popular Raleigh Twenty. Owned by my wife since new in 1969, not ridden a huge amount, but requiring a fair amount of attention to make rideable, due to having languished for many years in various sheds. I would do it myself, but I have enough projects on the go...!
Bronze Metallic Green (heavily patinated), with matching painted mudguards. Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Hub Gear, dated 1969. Early type Sturmey Archer rotary handlebar gear selector. Original Hub Dynamo on front wheel (Not currently wired to anything). Original white accessories, and plenty of those nuts with the Raleigh R on them!
Honestly, it does require some work, but it is an early one and quite rare, and original. Not yet in Raleigh Chopper territory, but prices are climbing!
Please study the accompanying photo's, I know what it's worth, how sought after they are, and what's involved in restoration, so please don't embarrass yourself making silly offers!
