Trek Alpha 1.5. - Huge Upgrades
Now a huge bargain as I can no longer cycle owing to a hip problem.
This bike has been built up from new old stock 56cm Trek 1.5 Alpha frame. It has mostly new parts and a few lightly used ones from other projects.
New parts are high end SRAM Rival 2x11 speed shifters and cables.
New SRAM rival front derailleur.
Almost new FELT wheelset. It’s running on 50/34 SRAM cranks with a whopping 12/42 11 speed on the back. These specific ratios chosen to help with commuting and touring. It will climb anywhere running a 34/42 ratio.
The cockpit is made up with New Deda Bars and tape. The used parts are the brake callipers (SRAM front, 105 rear) and the rear derailleur and cassette.
Giant seat as I find it a comfortable all round saddle. The bike as you can see in the pics is immaculate, runs perfectly, and is very versatile and comfortable. Perfect for anyone around 5’ 11” to maybe 6’ 1”.
Great opportunity to buy what is a unique Trek 1.5 much upgraded from the standard stock bike. It is pretty much “As New”. Has maybe 350 miles on it from new build and runs perfectly like a Swiss Watch.
Pick up or happy to meet reasonable distance from North Yorkshire for petrol.
