Description
Lovely little Specialized Hotrock with 20-inch wheels – ideal for roughly 6- to 9-year-olds who are ready for gears. It’s been well loved and could do with a spruce-up, so I’ve priced it to reflect that.
• Frame & fork: lightweight aluminium, front suspension
• Gears: 6-speed Shimano Revoshift grip-shifter
• Brakes: Tektro V-brakes front & rear
• Tyres: chunky 20 × 2.0″ knobbly tread – plenty of life left
Condition (please read):
• Cosmetic scuffs on the paint and decals, plus a tear in the saddle cover
• Chain and cassette have surface rust and would benefit from a clean & lube
• Rear gear cable is frayed at the end – still shifts but ideally wants replacing (£3 part)
Give it a quick service – new cables, a good degrease and a wipe over – and it’ll be a cracking first “proper” MTB for your youngster.
