Fantastic condition vintage steel road bike.

This is from 82-ish.

Fully refurbished, all new parts/ paint/ decals..

This bike came to me in a sorry state..but not rusty. A previous owner had 'stolen' a lot of the Dura Ace Groupset that came with it. Which points to 82-ish. Original Campagnolo Headset and seatpost.

Legend has it that Roy Thame went to the CIOCC factory in Italy that was relocating premises and bought a huge amount of frames. The detailing and lightweight tubing ponts to Italy. It's definitely not Reynolds 531. The weight of the bike feels like Columbus. With no decals on the original frame, and Roy having a lot of bare frames, it seems very likely this was one of those CIÖCC frames. This is my third Roy Thame, and it's head and shoulder above all the rest. Only my Roberts is as light as this.

Fully serviced and ready to ride away.

Extremely lightweight.

Steel bikes do not come much lighter.
