Description
80's Peugeot Etoile road bike. 54 cm 'Mangaloy' steel frame.
Bought as a restoration project, but I never had the time to finish it, now I need a clear out.
Paintwork on the frame is quite tatty, but it rides fine - gears, brakes and wheels all good.
52-42 front chain ring and 18-13 (6-speed) rear sprocket with refurbished Shimano 600 rear mech fitted. Down tube shifters work well, but don't have indexing.
I also had new wheels built for it - Mavic Open Elite rims with the original Campag Record hubs, and I fitted a new alloy seat post and white Selle Italia Turbo saddle.
There is a split in the seat tube at the top, but the seat post is secure. I've done plenty of long rides on it and never had a problem.
Front tyre does have a puncture at the moment.
SPD SL pedals shown in photo are NOT included. I can include them for an extra £10.
