Claud Butler Urban 300 Hybrid Bike, perfect for getting around town

I'm looking to sell the bike that's served me well since I was a student. In the time I've had it, its taken me on family holidays abroad, to and from lectures in Cambridge, and served me faithfully in Bristol.

The bike itself is a Claud Butler Urban 300, it has a solid Shimano 3x8 drivechain giving you plenty of gears for getting around town, with quick 'trigger' shifters for switching as required, mounted on flat handlebars allowing a comfortable riding position.

The bike has some obvious wear and tear, notably the saddle is visibly tattered but still very comfy/functional, and the front suspension fork has long seized solid. That said, the suspension in the seat post is perfeclty functional, which along with the hybrid tyres means you get a comfortable ride even on gravel.

Aside from the above, the bike has been maintained, with the crankshaft, pedals, and bottom bracket replaced with sqeeky new parts with the help of friends at the Bristol Bike Project just last year. I've also given the frame, chain etc a good scrub prior to posting this ad. The fact that I've done this, I hope illustrates that the bike has plenty of life left in it if shown a little bit of love. I'm looking to sell purely as I've gotten use to a lighter road bike and don't have space to store a second bike!

The bike will come with a kickstand, fitted rear mudguard, lock/key, and appnier rack that can be used to attach lock to when riding. With these accessories, and the fact that the bike itself is no longer in perfect state, I'd consider it perfect for getting around town in Bristol without being a target for thieves, while a pannier can be fitted to allow transport of shopping etc. These accessories can be quite expensive to pick up separately, so hoping they will make the item more appealing and immediately practicable for you.
