Description
Selling my size medium Boardman Adv 8.6, bought second hand a few years ago. It's a highly reliable and easily maintainable bike. Selling because I've found I (6') prefer a larger frame.
Solid gravel bike, excellent as a fast commuter but equally able to tackle singletrack in the Pentlands and beyond.
Original (non-consumable) components except for a two major upgrades:
* Juintech hybrid hydraulic/mechanical breaks (giving much more reliable stopping power than the stock brakes)
* 1x9 Shimano GRX drivetrain, removing the need to maintain a front mech (probably most common cause of gear problems). The original 2x crankset is included, so you can easily swap it back if you prefer.
Tyres replaced last year, in great condition. Chain and cassette replaced regularly as needed.
The paint has plenty of scuffs, reflecting regular use. This is priced in.
Anti-theft marked and registered with BikeRegister, which will be transferred to the new owner.
