This bike would be a perfect purchase for a 6-9 year old child who hasn't yet learned to ride a bike yet. Most 20" bikes are fitted with gears (which just adds to the difficulties in learning to ride a bike), but this one would a perfect first bike as it doesn't have any gears. If stabilisers are required then we can also fit a good quality set for additional £15, but most kids of this age learn without them. As you can see from the photos it's in decent cosmetic condition. It's shiny and very clean but does have some signs of use typical of a used bike - but we've clearly taken this into account with our low price. Even better, as all of our customers know by now, we don't sell a bike without it being professionally serviced and safety checked so therefore it's working as good as new. A bike shop will charge you approx £55 plus parts to do the same service that we give to all of our bikes.
