Description
A pair of clip-on carbon pedals by Shimano.
These are new, still in original packaging with instructions and labels, never fitted to to a bike or shoes.
I purchased them to use with a new bike but never got around to swapping out the original pedals, hence they remained unused.
Some info from an on-line site currently selling them (Ranelagh Cycle Warehouse):-
- SPD-SL road pedal for high performance road racing
- Designed to match the 105 11-speed group
- Wide lightweight carbon body provides large shoe contact area to maximise power transfer and support whilst reducing weight
- Low profile design increases road clearance for increased confidence when slicing through corners
- Large binding target allows quick engagement while wide cleats provides more efficient pedalling
- Stainless steel pedal body plate for increased durability
- Open design allows for easy access and cleat adjustment
- Low maintenance sealed cartridge axle unit
- Three types of shoe cleats available: fixed, 3 degrees of float in each direction, or 3 degrees of float from a font-centre pivot
- Weight: 285 grams per pair
They have been stored boxed in a smoke free home. The price reflects their new, boxed and unused condition. They are currently for sale on-line at £85 (Ranelagh Cycle Warehouse).
I am also selling a new, boxed unused pair of Specialized Body Geometry Sport Road cycle shoes, size UK 10.5/EU 45 which will fit these pedals. Price £45 (see separate ad)
I am happy to post at the buyer's expense via Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked service if necessary. I can also deliver free within a 10 mile radius of Selkirk.
