Beautiful/comfortable and well sorted Benelli TRK702 (Well now it is)
Unfortunately I like many others were suckered in by the local Benelli dealership on the promise of a great bike. Hmm what a crock!
As standard there are many issues that most customers start to suffer once they clock up a couple hundred miles. Benelli pretend issues don't exist. They suffer massively poor fueling, horrendous vibrations, unstable front ends.
Vague gear changes etc. After talking with others I have gone through a lot of trouble to fix all of this (Benelli refuse to acknowledge any kind of issues)
Anyway I will tell you what I have done to turn it from a terrible bike into a great one.

Replaced the chain & sprockets with quality parts - This helps reduce a lot of the vibrations.
Changed the gear ratio.
Replaced the ECU with an upgraded version - This helps with the terrible fueling/surging, reduces the Engine vibrations further still and gives more torque and power.
Dropped the forks 10mm - This stops the horrendous front end vibrations/oscillations when accelerating out of a bend (which is positively dangerous in standard form)
Replaced the poor oil for a high quality one - Improves feel of gearbox/gear change.

bizarrely there is not a low seat option available for the 702 (unlike the 502) So I have had a Custom Comfort +low +heated seat made.

On top of that there are the other optional extras fitted such as heated grips, crash bars and spotlights and full luggage.

It might not sound like much, but these changes cost a lot and really do turn an appalling bike into a great one.

If you do buy one, make these changes!

Basically mine is the best looking (in my opinion) in the much rarer matt green
It is smoother, faster, more comfy & economical than a standard version.
Yeah, you might find one slightly cheaper, but be prepared for a lot of expense on top.

Selling as I smashed my hand a while back, and despite it having a very light clutch the amount of gear changes on my commute is taking its toll on my hand.

Because of this I would be interested in a deal on an NC750 DCT (2020 onwards) or a CMX1100 DCT
