Description
THE BASE I The Net1 Xplode Junior Basketball System features a 37-litre ‘Ergo Base’. The base is made from high-density, blow-moulded polyurethane (which should be filled with either sand or water). While sturdy and stable, the Ergo Base can be quickly transported on two fully integrated wheels. However, if you’d like Xplode to stay in one place for longer, four ground anchor stakes (supplied separately) can be embedded in almost every surface. The Ergo Base’s rounded top has been specifically designed for younger players, reducing trip risk at the pole base during play. Oh, and it even has an integrated ball holder for when it’s finally time to take a break.
THE POST I The Xplode’s 5cm diameter powder-coated, three-piece post is covered by a NET1 post pad to protect active younger players. The Xplode’s post has a fuss-free, tool-free telescopic adjuster which means the hoop can be raised to five different heights - from 2m (6’5”) to 2.6m (8’5”) – so players of every size and age can enjoy a game.
THE BACKBOARD I The Xplode has a fan-shaped, impact-resistant polypropylene backboard which features a reinforced ‘Y’ frame design. In terms of great looks, the Xplode backboard has UV inhibitors to reduce the impact of sunlight – helping to keep its colour for longer
THE HOOP I The Xplode’s 38cm solid steel, black, fixed hoop houses an all-weather 9 loop net. This hoop size is designed for Size 5 basketballs only, offering a perfectly scaled-down version of the full-size game.
THE PLAYER I Xplode is a perfect first basketball system for the enthusiastic younger player who wants to practice alone or enjoy a game of basketball with family and friends. Thanks to its different height settings the system can grow at the same rate as the player, offering added value over many years of play.
