Sunshine Legend 3-Burner Gas B-B-Q. This barbecue is not a “One-Season-Wonder” but a serious, solidly made piece of outdoor functional furniture which has been little used and should last many years. It offers far less hassle and fuss when getting ready to cook than a charcoal unit involves, yet produces very similar taste results. The 2 cooking areas are made of solid heavy-weight cast iron and comprise a char-grill plate [slotted; and measures approx 48 cm x 40 cm (19” x 15”) for grilling steaks / chicken / Veg / Sausages etc; and a solid griddle plate [measures approx 48 cm x 20 cm (19” x 8”)] for pans of sauces / marinades / stir-fry dishes, as well as cooking delicate and smaller items of food. Beneath the cooking surfaces is a layer of long-lasting lava rock. As with more common charcoal B-B-Qs when the meat juices fall onto the hot lava rocks they vaporise and produce that authentic smoky barbecue flavour. Beneath the rocks are 3 x burners, each of heavy-weight cast iron and ignited by piezo-crystal. The burners are individually controllable to adjust cooking temperature. Beneath the burners is a full width drip tray to catch any excess grease and to protect the patio, or whatever surface the unit is standing on. It also has a cooker hood which can be lowered to effectively convert the barbecue into an outdoor oven to roast joints of meat and poultry etc. The whole cooking unit described sits in a hardwood, 2 wheeled trolley to make it easy to manoeuvre. Trolley size [including Cooker Hood lid] W=120 cm / D= 62.5 cm / H= 103 cm. Powered by LPG Butane or Propane gas [Butane regulator included (but not a cylinder), plus an Operation and Maintenance Instruction pamphlet. Because of the weight and dimensions it is offered as “Collection Only” but would consider local delivery in the Salisbury area by arrangement. Can be partially dismantled for long term storage or transit. Get ready for some sizzling summer barbecues with this well-maintained BBQ. It's in good condition and ready to cook up a storm! Some minor cosmetic wear and tear as expected from a used item, but fully functional and cleaned thoroughly. Grab a bargain!
