FEMALE LIVE IN CARER

Description

I am a single African mother with two young children, aged 5 and 2, looking for a dedicated and energetic childcare assistant to join my household as the second live-in carer. There is already another live-in carer in the home, and the successful candidate will work alongside them, sharing tasks to ensure the children receive quality care. As a Christian family, we are seeking someone who shares our faith.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with feeding, toileting, and personal care

Helping maintain a consistent sleep routine (once established)

Engaging the children in activities and play

Taking the children out for walks, to the park, and activity areas

Providing support to my 5-year-old, who has special needs

Collaborating with the other live-in carer to manage tasks and ensure the children’s well-being, whether I am home or away for work

Assisting the children with their school routine when the schools open in September, including helping them get to school in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon

There will be more time in the morning for the carer if they have other errands to run, especially once the children are at school

The ideal candidate will be energetic, adaptable, and compassionate, with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Experience with children, particularly those with special needs, is preferred but not necessary. Patience, flexibility, and the ability to manage the children’s care independently are essential.

Sleep Routine: My 5-year-old has an erratic sleep routine, so the role will also involve waking nights. The other live-in carer will be available to share these responsibilities and swap shifts as needed.

Days Off: 1 to 2 days off per week.

Salary/Benefits: I am offering between £750 and £900 per month, depending on how busy the week has been. you will share a room with the 2 year old. Bills, food included

Start Date: I am looking for someone to start ASAP.
