Description
This edition was published by Evans Brothers Limited, 1945, First published 1944.
Condition: Good. 255 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards with gilt heavy fading to spine, moderate fading to front cover and partially on back cover. Black and white illustrations throughout by Donia Nachshen. Colour illustration plates by Noel Hopking. Pages remain bright and clean. Binding remains firm. Owners name inscriptions to front inside page. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front.
