The extra (unused) extension pieces we have, will also be supplied for free, as per photo if buying the set.

This is probably the best child safety gate available as it concertina folds away - completely out of the way as per photos. Also, there is no annoying metal frame to trip over - especially at the top and bottom of the stairs, as we have used. The panels are solid, so there’s no are no prison-style bars to get stuck in or for toys to be thrown in-between any bars and onto the stairs.

The locking points can face side wards or forwards as required to allow for curved stairs or balustrades not quite in apposition, this adapts to whatever curve or diagonal you need to lock into, or simply straight across. No other gate can do this as they require rigid frames, but this does not as you can see.
The gates can also be used in a doorway, keeping pets in / out if needed. There are sufficient panels for 4 stairways / doorframes (as per photos), and the fixing height can be adjusted as the child grows so they can’t crawl under or climb over.
The gates have easy slot-in panels, so can be combined to protect wider spaces if needed, or panels removed if narrow spaces are needed. As each extension piece is half the width of a slot-in panel, the width coverage is very versatile, if the concertina is not already sufficient.
The gate can be opened with just one hand (depress lock with thumb and pull away with remaining part of hand). It will auto-retract and concertina-fold away. For closure, there will be a reassuring click sound when the lock activates.
