Description
2003 ASTON MARTIN DB7 GTA - The Aston Martin DB7 GTA was the top-of-the-line DB7. Only the DB7 GT, which had a slightly more powerful engine and a manual gearbox, eclipsed it. However, the GTA is actually the rarer of the two. Only 112 were made of which 60 were for the UK market. Only the DB7 Zagato and the DB AR1 are rarer, with 99 cars made for each. There has never been a better time to purchase one of these great Astons as prices are currently good but due to rise soon. A guaranteed classic, the DB7 GTA is certain to appreciate as the market recovers. This particular 2003 Aston Martin DB7 GTA is offered in immaculate condition and boasts several upgrades from new. It is powered by a 414bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine paired with a five-speed ZF 5HP30 semi-automatic transmission. This allows manual shifts via steering wheel buttons, a forerunner of the flappy paddle gear change system so common today. This GTA still only has 22,000 miles on the clock making it one of the rarest DB7s in the country. The GT & GTA variant featured a host of special options over the standard car with revised bodywork, upgraded suspension, larger Brembo brakes, sports exhaust and more. While several external colour options were available, all GTAs featured Black Oak Wood veneers to the interior with white instruments, though this car was supplied with the £950 carbon fibre veneer option. Now part of the Trinity Classic Car Collection, this car is for sale. The original invoice is priced at £106,799 - at todays value this is equal to £187,682.96
