Description
2 original, signed, oil paintings by (H) Louis Noel (Belgian,1938-2014) in Anglesey/Snowdonia.
Seascape. Inscription on reverse looks like 'Simod Catle' Bay?, Size of actual painting is 66w X 35.5d cm (26x14 inches), and total including frame is 77.5w X 47d cm (30.5x18.5 ins)
Landscape. Inscription on reverse is 'Tryfan, Snowdonia, from the East'. Size of actual painting is 65w X 40.5d cm (25.5x16 ins), and total including frame is 76w X 52d cm (30x20.5 ins). From 'Louis Noel Ceramics, The Studio, Station Road, Rhosneigr, Anglesey'. Both paintings were commissioned as gifts, by my brother, in the early 80s. Bargain at £50 EACH, OVNO.
