Ronnie Wood incorporates Keith Richards as a subject in many of his works because he is genuinely intrigued by how lost in deep thought Keith is while playing. This 2002 etching of the Stones guitarist conveys that sense of wonder and fascination.
This portrait was later refined for the Stray Cat Blues image/release.
