I had the pleasure of working with Sam Harrold for a full-day event involving a large group, multiple venues, and varied indoor and outdoor locations across several towns. From the outset, Sam impressed with his clear communication, organisation, and creative foresight—sharing mood boards and a visual concept that showed his commitment to getting it right. The shoot itself was logistically demanding: over 20 stops, transitions between towns, variable lighting, and a group that fluctuated in size and energy throughout the day. Sam handled it all with incredible professionalism and adaptability. He moved effortlessly between group management, candid captures, scenic frames, and adjusting to unpredictable conditions—whether that was shifting natural light or complex group dynamics. What stood out most was how seamless he made the experience for everyone. He was present but unobtrusive, calm under pressure, and always attentive to both people and environment. His turnaround time post-event was equally impressive—the edited images were delivered quickly and captured the energy and emotion of the day beautifully.
