Cannot recommend these fish enough. Medaka tolerate a wide range of temperatures, happy with little to no filtration (plant filtration is a good idea with water cress as they remove nitrates from the water - just buy some from Tescos or Sainsbury's and stick them in water). Very satisfying fish to keep. The fry will be a mix of orange and white or plain white. These are a fish to be viewed from above and are particularly appealing as they swim on the surface of the water and are not skittish. Ideal for simple tub containers. Set up your own tub pond project adding plants and rice fish - very therapeutic, especially when they tear up small flies or mosquito larvae! Ferocious predators for such tiny little things. Take your fry today and see them produce eggs in no time. Good luck and message for further advice/information.
