Description
Vintage Brown St Michael Travel Suitcase Hard Case + Reinforced Leather Corners
This vintage travel suitcase was made by St Michael Travel goods and is British made. It is a hard, faux leather covered, compressed fibre case with reinforced leather corners which protect against damage, It has a metal handle and chromed locking clasps, but no key. The clasps have an open/closed feature, by turning the clasps so that the two knobbly bits line up vertically the clasps can be opened, if the knobbly bits line up horizontally the clasps are closed and cannot be open. This effectively locks the case without the use of a key. It has its original lining which is clean and tidy, see pictures. It's in good condition for its age, a few cosmetic marks from usual use, See Pictures. This suitcase is ready to use as it is or you could upcycle it by replacing the lining and giving the outside a recover. It would make a great suitcase but could also be used to display items in a shop. It would also make a great prop for a play, Tv show or film.
