Fabulous antique Gamages hand crank sewing machine with storage cover.
Gamages was a large London, England department store. The serial number of the sewing machine is 2869588. Circa 1920s 1930s. On the top arm of the machine, it states "foreign." This was most likely made in Germany. The hand crank turns freely. The needle goes up and down. The feed dogs are working. The boat shuttle is present. Please refer to the pictures as they are an integral part of this description. Video instructions are readily available on line.
Good clean antique condition. Has age/use related wear as would be expected. Untested at sewing.
