WILL POST - I can post this for £7.99 if paid for by bank transfer (Note - we only accept payment in cash on collection or by bank transfer if delivery agreed - no PayPal, card, or courier payment).
Selling our collections (hoards) of mostly French vintage items that have been acquired over many years until finally we have no room for more!
This is a well used but sturdy plastic CH’TI beer crate which we got at a Vide Maison in Blumeray in the Champagne region.
CH’TI Bière de Garde ("beer for keeping") is a strong pale ale or keeping beer of the type traditionally brewed in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France which is where the CH’TI brewery has been brewing since 1926 at the BRASSERIE CASTELAIN, BENIFONTAINE.
A CH’TI is a person from northern France, the nickname stemming from their distinctive accents.
This crate dates to around the 1990s and will make a great addition to a breweriana collection.
Now well worn but still a bright, sound, substantial item functional for it’s original purpose or perhaps in a Francophile home bar…
In good vintage condition with wear and scratches but no damage - please examine photos carefully for condition.
This has been well used but I have washed and checked it over and I can’t find any cracks but there is wear, chips and scratching - see photos.
The handle is strong and sound.
Marked with CH’TI beer logo on all sides and other marks, such as the brewery mark, impressed on the inside.
Measures approximately:
25 cm tall, 40 cm long, 30 cm wide, weighs about 2 kg.
BREWERIANA, CAFT BEER, CRAFT ALE, MAN CAVE, HOME BAR, PROP
