Very Old map of Colchester and Essex in 1610
This map was found in a job lot of similar maps
And although its been carefully framed by
whoever had the maps there was no provenance
To prove it was an original made at or near that date
And I am shore that the paper would have been made by
Monks in a monastery and would be a lot thicker
It is up to the buyer to get the proof of age.
I have partly looked at the back and found
nothing to give provenance
But I must say that this does bring up intrest
From people who have debated about it to me
And I have had sum fun
