Description
***A tremendous opportunity to purchase an absolutely stunning, rare and complete 1974 The Medallic History of The Jewish People Set of 120 Bronze Medallic Issues Depicting The History of the Jewish People in original presentation folder and with accompanying book***
This very rare collection is one of only 535 sets released and it consists of 120 gem proof bronze medals which weigh 25g each (3kg in total) and measure 38mm in diameter. Each coin depicts an aspect of Jewish history all the way from Abraham through to Zalman Shazar. Each medal and it’s representation is featured in the accompanying book along with a description/meaning/explanation of said medal. The obverse of each coin also carries a brief description. Beautifully presented in 6 trays of 20 coins each, which are kept in a presentation folder.
It was conceived by Robert Weber and the project was overseen by The Judaic Heritage Society. Each tray measures approximately 295mm x 260mm, as does the accompanying book. The book is in excellent condition, as are the trays. The tray holding folder however does have a small amount of cosmetic damage (as pictured).
This extremely rare collection is very difficult to find. However, if you did manage to find a comparative one online, you will get little to no change out of £1000.
My price is less than half of that at just £399 including special delivery!!! However, I would be willing to also allow collection of this item from my home address and would take £30 off the asking price if done so. Would also be willing to possibly meet at a mutually beneficial location.
Payment through PayPal f&f or add fees if paying by g&s. Bank transfer, or cash on collection are great as well. Thanks.
