Description
Original Charles & Ray Eames mid-Century Atomic Sputnik Chrome Magazine Rack.
Iconic design with colourful lollipop knobs of the same era as the 'hang it all' coat rack. In great condition for its age and complete with all the original rubber feet.
There most noticeable sign of wear is a line crack in one of the painted wooden (lollipop) knobs measuring about 4cm (see last enlarged photo) but this doesn't show as is on inside of knob, unless really scrutinising and doesn't in any way detract from the immense charm, and scarcity of this wonderful piece nor it's function.
