We are delighted to offer this pretty wonderful English made, late 18th century Georgian chest of drawers. This chest is in lovely age related condition. Two over three graduated stack drawers all with gallery edges, flame grain mahogany veneers on a pitch pine frame. Ebony tube line inlaid to the top & bottom galleries. Diamond inlaid bone lock escutcheon, bronzed drop ring handles & mounted on four cushion turned pedestal feet. Working lock & key to first long drawer. This chest comes directly from a recent grand estate sale & is sold in superb as found antique condition. Lots of lovely age related surface patination. Some minor veneer loss to the top back left corner. It displays very nicely indeed & drawers run nicely. It's been cleaned inside & out, lightly wax polished, so is now ready to use, love & enjoy once more. It's style & design are typical of the Georgian period & this example dates nicely to the late 18th century, circa 1790's
