Rare Large 18thC Dutch Delft Wall Tile Framed Manganese, Blue and White Portrait
Brief Description:
This is a superb late 18th-century Dutch Delft Wall Tile depicting a striking portrait profile of a Dutch lady wearing a hat.
Hand-painted in colours of manganese and blues.
The all-original piece is mounted within its original 18th-century walnut moulded frame.
With initials verso 'A.R' and further inscription which may identify the sitter - see images.
It is a quality, period piece that is in remarkably good original condition, due to it being mounted in a frame and hung safely on a wall.
