Description
A Victorian era Pears print entitled ‘Tempted but shy’ by G.G.Kilburne, R.I.
The print is of a young girl being presented to two older gentlemen, who are sat at a table presenting an orange to the young girl, by a women, presumably her mother. To the left corner of the print is a “Pears” logo.
Dimensions ~
The frame has a width of 25.5 inches (65cm), a height of 32 inches (81.25cm), and a depth of 1 inch (2.5cm).
The picture has a width of 24.5 inches (62.5cm) and a height of 17 inches (43.25cm).
The frame is in good condition.however glass is missing The painting is slightly rippled, with a small tear to the far right edge. No sign of foxing or paint wear.
