Description
Robert Mouseman Thompson Monks chair. This beautiful chair is a real statement piece. Hand carved from oak - curved back with shaped arms over four carved octagonal legs and three lattice panels joined by a cross stretcher at floor level. It has a flame retardant foam seat covered with cow hide and fixed with antique brass upholstery tacks. Purchased approximately 30 years ago direct from Robert Thompsons. Beautiful medium fume oak - superb quality and patination. Very fine detailed tooled mouse to one leg as shown. Excellent overall condition with no cracks or breaks. Approx Size: 2' 7 1/2" / 80cm. £2000 Cash or bank transfer on collection. ANY OFFERS WILL BE IGNORED. Pick up is from Bramhope Leeds 16, just five minutes from the airport. I cannot post due to the value and size.
