Description

Believe hand-painted and also believe Japanese, rather than Chinese, as Mount Fuji is depicted on each piece. Set consists of tea pot coffee pot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, milk jug with lid, 5 snack serving plates, which also act as saucers for cups (believe the plates are also known as tennis plates) and a single delicate, eggshell china cup. All in excellent condition, except there is only one cup, which is imperfect, and one of the snack plates / tennis plates is also imperfect (see photos), reflected in the price. Set remains extremely attractive and collectable. For use. Display. Value is in the coffee pot / tea pot, sugar bowl, milk jug and four good serving plates, all of which are in excellent condition. No charge for the two damaged items! Believe the serving plates tennis plates are reasonably rare and the whole set is from the art deco art nouveau periods. Selling as a job lot. Sold as seen.
