circa 15th/16thC Ming Dynasty Wanli Period Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Bowl
Brief Description:
This is an exquisite and original late 15th - early 16th-century Chinese Ming Dynasty blue and white porcelain bowl.
Dating from the Wanli period (1573-1620), and decorated in hand-painted foliage together with a central inscription relating to Wealth and Honour.
The piece is of a stunning patina, and it is very tactile to hold.
Probably once a shipwreck discovery, but we can not definitively confirm this.
It is a stunning 15th-century piece that looks beautiful anywhere it is placed.
