Brief Description:
This is a fascinating and visually stunning bronzed patinated mixed-media statue bust depicting an unnamed Gurhka Soldier.
He was created in 1969 by artist and sculptor Jean Robilliard, who regularly exhibited throughout the world and, in particular, Malaysia.
The soldier's facial features are phenomenal!
He displays well at every angle, and, from standing just a few inches away from him, he still has the appearance of a solid bronze bust.
He is made from a mixed media of bronze/copper paste, fibreglass and resin.
He is mounted upon his original solid oak base, which has a fabulous patina.
This remarkable piece will look beautiful in any home, either period or modern.
