c. 1905 Exceptional Gothic-Domed Edwardian Parquetry Inlaid 8-Day Mantel Clock
Brief Description:
This is a beautiful and very original Edwardian Mahogany and Parquetry inlaid dome-top Mantel Clock.
The very elegant piece has an 8-day movement that chimes on a bell ring, every half hour.
The wonderful mahogany case is of a Gothic-inspired, tapering and domed form, with a fabulous oval inlaid crest to the centre.
The circular stainless steel clock dial has Roman numerals.
Comes complete with the pendulum and a working key.
The piece currently works well; however, as always, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy or function of an antique clock movement, so a service is always strongly recommended.
