Brief Description:
This is a very high-quality 19th-century French Faience Polychrome painted Toby Jug modelled in the form of a seated Gentleman, who is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a vibrant floral patterned jacket.
The beautifully presented piece is hand-painted in shades of yellows, greens, blues and browns.
The underside is marked by the factory/artist.
It is a wonderfully colourful piece with excellent artistry.
