c. 1780 A Good Dutch/French Polychrome Faience Delft Ribbed Baluster Vase
Brief Description:
This is a very good quality late 18th-century Dutch or French Delft Faience vase.
The elegantly ribbed and polychrome-decorated piece, with tropical gardens, tropical birds, butterflies and other foliage.
With geometric borders, a Peacock, a Parrot and other birds.
Signed to the base by an unidentified Dutch/French factory.
Offered in a very good original condition commensurate with its age.
There is some very minor crazing to the glaze and a few glaze chips to the foot - see images.
Of a very nice cabinet patina.
