Brief Description:
This is a large, superb original 18th-century Italian Polychrome Majolica Plate.
The vibrant, beautifully presented piece portrays an ancient Galleon Ship sailing at full sail in rough seas.
The period artwork is spectacular, with an amazing depiction of the ship and the curly waves.
The border is hand-painted in geometric arches with a single flowerhead in each.
it is a large plate, measuring 36.8 cm in diameter.
