Beautiful Antique Semi Precious Metal Serving Tray Roman? Egyptian? Moroccan?
Used, in excellent condition, Beautiful Antique Semi Precious Metal Serving Tray, a rather exquisite piece could it be Roman? Egyptian? Moroccan? It looks as if it is made from a base metal, possibly bronze, then looks like fabulously metal inlaid design! Maybe this is done with paint I'm not sure, but it is pretty heavy and likely shows the abundance and quality of the metals used, it almost looks as if it is potentially layered in different metals and then carved at each level to give a different coloured metal! If so that would make it very valuable. We have copper, brass, a pewter colour!! Most likely is paint I think. I'm not sure of the origin, it could be quite valuable. Some signs of wear as expected from a used item, surface scratching from cleaning on the back, some mild patina and some oxidation spots, all adds to the charming nature of this beautiful item.
