Description
This little Arts and Crafts dressing table was a delightful find for us back in the 80's but we're selling it at less than its market value because we urgently need the space.
The chest has served many purposes in our home over the years, with and without its mirror. We've had it in various rooms in a large Georgian flat but it would fit even better in a modest-sized Edwardian family home (it's original intended location), a country cottage or a modern apartment with a Scandi decor. Its size and simplicity make it very adaptable to different architectural and interior design styles.
Overall dresser height with mirror 64", cabinet without mirror 32".
Overall width side to side 33".
Depth front to back 18".
Drawer dimensions are 27" wide and 15" front to back. The top and second drawers are 5" deep and the bottom drawer is 7" deep.
We had its French Polish renewed 10 years or so ago and have replaced a drawer handle but have otherwise left it as it was made somewhere between 1880 and 1910. There are some acceptable signs of its age on the handles and the castors and some almost imperceptible marks on the legs but it is generally in superb shape, especially for an antique in daily use.
We can help arrange carriage if necessary and will ensure the item is securely wrapped for transport.
