Description
Art Deco. 1920s or 1930s.
Has a nice design on the lid that looks very Art Deco. There are some on Ebay that look very similar and are Art Deco. About £50 on Ebay.
Approximately 17 cm by 8 cm, with a depth of just over 4 cm.
We have had it since 1974 when we found it in the attic of an early 1900s house that we lived in.
Looks to be made of Bakelite.
In good condition overall, apart from one hinge is damaged (shown in photos) hence extra low price.
Not sure if these were used as cigarette boxes or trinket boxes.
Payment in correct cash please, on collection.
