Antique Victorian Set of 3 heavy, Brass Fire Irons,
Shovel, Tongs & Poker.
Good quality and condition. Solid construction. All joints are sound and no wobbles.
The shovel scoop is firmly riveted.
There is an attractive shell pattern pressed into the shovel scoop.
The shovel has a registered number “RD.260962” this dates the items between 1895 and 1896.
The handle is elegantly designed.
The handles of the three items are matching.
The tongs are impressive with a smooth moving brass hinge.
The poker has an iron tip. 3¾ inches above the tip, the rod has had an added sheet of brass.
The poker measures approx 23¾ inches long,
The shovel measures 26 inches long.
The tongs measure 25¾ inches long.
A beautiful brass fireside trio with very light use, that are sure to enhance a large fire place.
