Description
An early 20th century (circa 1920) original hand drawn pen and ink illustration, headed “residents theatricals at guys hospital”. Advertising people watching “Hamlet act 2 scene 2 the Plays the thing” (Hamlet says "The play's the thing, wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king). Illustrated, signed and monogrammed RMW for Ralph Wingent”.
Frame size 35.5cm by 41.5cm. Sketch size 23.5cm by 29.5cm.
