Description
A wonderful quality, vintage, coopered oak and copper coal or log barrel, with copper banding on wooden stand.
The top handle is brass.
At the rear is a lifting handle, turned out of wood.(unusual)
This coal/log barrel has been attractively fashioned to become an elegant piece of fireside furniture, possibly originated as a 19th Century Barrel.
It is made with tight well shaped oak staves and bound with studded copper hoops
The bucket/barrel would look attractive with flower arrangements spilling from it.
