Description
For sale a antique old very big drop dial wall clock made by Edward Matthews of Welshpool 1803-1844.
It is a very good piece of Welsh history made by a famous Welsh clock maker.
I have had the movement completely stripped down and overhauled and i have carried out some repair work to the case
the clock is in full working order.
the white clock dial is 18 inches in diameter,
the clock case is 56 inches tall
the clock case trunk is 17 inches wide
the clock case depth is 7 inches at the bottom 7 1/2 inches at the top
the diameter of the round mahogany dial door is 21 inches wide
The clock case is made of Oak, Mahogany, and Ebony wood .
it is a very big drop dial 200 year old clock and very rare in this size.
