Description
Late Georgian / early Victorian cast iron hob grate front panel with ornate Bluebells on the side panels (pitting in the cast which adds to the piece’s charm).
Recently refurbished, this involved stripping the piece back to bare metal, before protecting with two coats of Liberon iron polish and buffing to a dark graphite grey, which really highlights the detail (could be buffed to a higher shine, or blacked with another coat and not buffed). Mounting loops on rear.
