Description
This stylish cast and gilded brass English carriage clock by ‘Rapport London’, contained in a polished cast brass case with elegant lifting handle, this one chimes on the hour on a bell, with bevel edged glass on all sides and on the top where the escapement is visible, the face with Roman numerals and two tempered blue steel hands, the back of the movement stamped "Thirteen Jewels", comes with original key, in working order, Rapport of London began in 1898 when Maurice A, Rapport produced his first timepiece, soon to become a household name in clockmaking and horology worldwide, with the clocks produced by the company would find themselves gracing fine homes in all four corners of the globe, the dimensions are 9cms wide 8cms deep standing 12cms tall, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee or arrange a courier nationally S489
